जेव्हा पुस्तकं बोलू लागतात...!

मागच्या भागात अभिजात साहित्याचे निकष, उदाहरणं, कालिदास- काळ, दंतकथा, साहित्य, मेघदूताचं स्वरुप, आषाढस्य प्रथमदिने बद्दल जाणून घेतल्यावर आता मराठीतल्या मेघदूतविषयी काही खास असं... मराठीत या अजरामर काव्याचा अनुवाद करताना सिद्धहस्त कवियत्री शांता शेळके यांनी प्रस्तावनेत त्यांचं शालेय- महाविद्यालयीन अवस्थेपासून सदाजागृत असलेलं मेघदूत प्रेम प्रकट केलं आहे. त्या म्हणतात," माझा अनुवाद सरळ, साधा, ' पादाकुलका' सारख्या प्रवाही छंदात केलेला आहे. तो करताना मुळातील आशयाला, रसवत्तेला हानी पोहोचू नये, याची मी शक्य तेवढी काळजी घेतली आहे. मुख्य म्हणजे, माझ्या पदरचे त्यात काहीही, कुठेही घालण्याचे धार्ष्ट्य मी केले नाही.
